Field-tested for "Problem Cows"†, the BOVINE BEACON® eliminates costly missed opportunities for conception. Preliminary tests also indicate that the Beacon is also highly successful when used in a program with controlled estrus.

Following the instructions included with the BOVINE BEACON will assure proper application and the most efficient readings. In addition, because of the sensitivity of the Beacon, certain recommendations will maximize the desired results:

Check the free stall bar height. Low bedding and high L-shaped bars can allow bumping and false activation of the Beacon
Keep confined space to a minimum, as bumping may create false positives
Be aware that synchronized herds can add to false positives
After applying delousing oil, the ability for the BOVINE BEACON® to stick may be compromised for up to two weeks.
